This is the Bald Eagle Captain Arthur located at the Peace River Wildlife Center in Punta Gorda, Fl. Arthur was injured as an eaglet when his nest fell which broke his wing and it was days before he was found and unfortunately infection had set in requiring removal of part of his wing. He has been at the center since 2001. The photos of Arthur where taken from outside the cage and you can see the faint lines of shadow from the wire mesh for which I decided to leave to depict their captivity.
