A trip to the Brevard area of North Carolina late October 2012, It was past the peak for the fall change, but we had areas of good color. Images are from The DuPont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest, Gorges State Forest and Nantahala National Forest. On this hiking trip I shot every image for HDR, taking anywhere from 3 to 6 photos of each image. This allows me to capture a much wider range of light and color than the usual single snap shot. By layering and processing multiple images to make up one photo, this brings out greater detail and color, I call this Photo Art, photography with an artistic expression.
